CARDS twinning project with Croatia

The CARDS twinning projects aims to involve the countries of former Yugoslavia and Albania in the stabilisation and association process with the European Union and to support the regional co-operation. In relation to Croatia it should also support the development of standards in line with the “acquis communautaire' of the EU – e.g. in the drugs field.

The PHARE Twinning Project „ Strengthening the Croatian Capacity to Combat Drugs Trafficking and Drugs Abuse “ was implemented in co-operation of Croatia and Germany. The ÖBIG in cooperation with the Croatian partner is in charge of organising the national Focal Points and in advancing the national monitoring systems, taking into account the epidemiological key indicators.
