Development statistics 1991 to 2006 (in German)

This survey describes the development in the numbers of authorised professionals in the fields of psychotherapy, clinical psychology and health psychology since 1991 according to distribution over provinces and districts. It is shown that in spite of a continual increase in the number of authorised professionals, no balance has been struck as to the pronounced regional differences between urban and rural areas. Furthermore, the survey presents the type of employment (free-lance practice or institution-affiliated) and a description of the professional groups in terms of sociodemographic characteristics. One part of the study contains texts with a presentation and evaluation of results, another comprises the corresponding tables.
