Oral Health in Austria 1996–2003

This paper presents the collected results of the national dental surveys in Austria carried out for all WHO-Indicator-Age groups in the period from 1996 to 2005. Since 2001 the oral health surveys were repeated yearly on the same basis starting with children of six years. On this basis improvement in Oral Health resulting from the implementation of intensive prevention activities (dental attitudes, experiences and behaviour).

Die vorliegende Publikation gibt einen Überblick darüber, wie sich die Mundgesundheit in Österreich seit 1996 entwickelt, und zeigt auf, wo noch Handlungsbedarf besteht.
