Oral Health and Quality of Life in Austria 2005

This report presents the results from the Adult Dental Health Survey that was carried out in 2005 by the Austrian Heath Institute (ÖBIG). The results are based on a representative sample of Austrian adults (35- to 44-year-olds and 65- to 74-year-olds). The aim of the survey was to provide information on the current state of adult’s teeth and their oral hygiene practice. The interviews included the investigation of the impact of Oral Health on Life Quality and on Satisfaction.

Die vorliegende Publikation dokumentiert die wesentlichen Ergebnisse der Befragungen 2005 und gibt einen Überblick über die mundgesundheitsbezogene Lebensqualität der Erwachsenen in Österreich. Zudem wird aufgezeigt, wo Handlungsbedarf besteht.
