Health Report to the Austrian Parliament 2003

Reporting period 1999–2001

The health report to the Austrian Parliament provides a description of the role and state of health care in Austria. The 2003 report includes the historical development of health care compared to other countries as well as activities by the Ministry of Health in the reporting period with regard to the health policy goals of the Federal Government of Austria, the European Union and the World Health Organization. This report covers the period from 1999 to 2001 and thus links up with the period from 1996 to 1998 treated in the 2000 health report.
