Health Report Austria 2009

Reporting period 1998–2007

The report is primarily serving as a basic epidemiological report, appealed to policy-makers and the scientific community. The report is offering substantial analyses of main aspects of the Austrian health care system, the state of health of Austrian population as well as influencing factors like health hazards, lifestyle and health promotion. Regional data were considered, depending on availability, in accordance with NUTS-III and NUTS-II levels of the European Union. In order to take into account gender mainstreaming, data have been broken down by gender. The period under review is 1992-2001.
