Guidelines for the announcement of drug help facilities in the Federal Collection of Statutes, according to Art. 15 of the Narcotic Substances Act (NSA), were drawn up.

The guidelines for the announcement of drug help facilities in the Federal Collection of Statutes, according to Art. 15 of the Narcotic Substances Act (NSA), were drawn up in close cooperation with the commissioning organisation as well as addiction experts. One of the central tasks of this project group was to explain the implications of the requirements defined by law and draw up minimum standards for announcement. The basic objective of these activities was to promote quality assurance in the field of drug help. The draft consists of three focal subjects: general framework in connection with Art. 15 of the NSA; quality assurance; and surveying procedure. It was prepared in the course of several meetings of an expert group established especially for this purpose and based on feedback from a large number of drug experts. The guidelines - after a slight revision by the health ministry - now serve as the basis for decision-making when drug facilities applying for announcement are examined.
