With the publication „Colorectal Cancer Screening from an Economic Perspective“ the issue if virtual colonoscopy is a cost-effective alternative for the screening of colorectal cancer was addressed.

A systematic literature research was performed in international databases for assessment, according to predefined selection criteria. The study gives an overview about the procedures of detection of colorectal cancer and also a literature review on the cost-effectiveness of virtual colonoscopy.
