Activities

BIQG specialises in health care quality. On behalf of the Federal Government of Austria, BIQG develops, implements and regularly evaluates a nationwide quality system that has to be based on the mandatory principles of orientation towards patients, transparency, effectiveness and efficiency.

Legal basis
The Act on Health Care Quality (GQG) and the Act on GÖG (GÖGG) form the legal basis of BIQG’s activities.
