Reports on the Drug Situation in Austria

The Reports on the drug situation are summaries of the situation in Austria on the one hand and national contributions to a presentation of the drug situation in the European Union on the other. The REITOX Focal Points in all member states of the EU prepare similar reports based on a uniform structure drawn up by the EMCDDA. The reports are the central basis of the EMCDDA’s Annual report on the state of the drug problem in the European Union.

The Report on the drug situation in Austria, which is published every November, covers new developments and trends regarding the legal framework of drug policy, the epidemiological situation and health policy measures aimed at demand reduction. In addition special annual key issues are treated in more detail.

The Reports on the drug situation are available free of cost in PDF (download from the website) while the print version is sold at cost.
