Quality circle "Evaluation"

ÖBIG has coordinated a monthly quality circle on the subject of evaluation, which started in January 2000. The members of the quality circle are experts from the area of Vienna: both drug help practitioners in charge of evaluation in their organisations and experts dealing with the scientific aspects of evaluation.

The quality circle complements the training schemes in this field and is aimed at providing regular assistance to the practitioners in charge of evaluation. The participating experts also exchange experience and information, which also facilitates the practical process of evaluation for which they are responsible.

The quality circle serves as a forum both for the discussion of concrete evaluation schemes as well as current projects the participants are in charge of, and for general deliberations of theoretical and methodological questions. Special emphasis is placed on questions and problems regarding practical aspects of evaluation. Besides, the quality circle elaborated a paper evaluation: demands & instructions/guidance that presents principle conditions for evaluation from the view of experts in charge of it within drug services.
