Quality Assurance

In recent years quality assurance in the field of drugs has played an increasingly important role. The corresponding measures (e.g. drawing up minimum standards for drug counselling and care centres) have become generally accepted work standards especially in the field of drug help. This is also reflected by the fact that evaluation and accompanying research as well as adequate education and training schemes for drug help experts have gained in importance.

ÖBIG supports this development through a number of projects and activities. For instance, guidelines for drug facilities were drawn up, with a strong focus placed on quality assurance and a plan for drug specific further education was elaborated. In addition training courses for drug experts have been organised and the quality circle "Evaluation” has been established.
