Professional education and training

In the context of professional education and training in the health care sector, the task of GÖG/ÖBIG is to study education and (further) training in nonphysician health care professions with regard to conceptual, didactical and curricula-related as well as integrative aspects, and with regard to quality enhancement and quality assurance (Professions).

The products developed in this department mainly include curricula and general guidelines for education and (further) training in nonphysician health care professions, oriented towards learning outcomes. In addition, interested parties are assisted by means of counselling and process control, e.g., regarding the development of curricula. Furthermore, specific knowhow on professional education in the health are sector is available, for instance for legal evaluation procedures.
