Pharma economics
We study and analyse pharmaceutical systems in Austria and the European Union. In this context different cost containment measures are of special interest, e.g., rational use of medicines or the price build-up. Another topic deals with financing expensive and innovative products. The corresponding analyses cover both the outpatient and the inpatient sector.
Our experts in this field are represented in bodies such as Austria’s Independent Pharmaceutical Committee, the National Committee of the Pharmaceutical Advisory Board on Rational Use of Medicines and the global Pricing Policy Working Group of the World Health Organization.
