Phare Twinnings

ÖBIG was responsible for managing the drug-specific PHARE twinning project with the Czech Republic. This included coordinating the whole project, which comprises various fields (e.g. advancement of drug policy coordination structures, drawing up curricula and manuals for drug help work, training schemes for drug experts and decision-makers) and was carried out in cooperation with a large number of experts and institutions in the Czech Republic and the EU.

The PHARE Twinning Project "Strengthening of the National REITOX Focal Point and strengthening the drug supply reduction and drug demand reduction programmes in Slovenia" was implemented by Slovenia in co-operation with Spain and Austria.

In both projects, the ÖBIG in cooperation with the partners was involved in organising the national Focal Points and in advancing the national monitoring systems, taking into account the epidemiological key indicators.
