EMINet

A consortium of GÖG/ÖBIG (project management), the EASP (Andalusian School of Public Health) and the Health Department of the London School of Economics (LSE Health) support the European Commission, DG Enterprise and Industry in establishing and maintaining a network of pharmaceutical authorities (the European Medicines Information Network). This 4-year project was set up to enhance information exchange as well as awareness-raising in the field of pharmaceutical pricing and reimbursement among member states of the European Union and EEA countries as well as among other relevant stakeholders in that field.

In addition, a number of specific questions are analysed (e.g., new ways of pricing for orphan drugs or the effects of parallel trade on exporting countries) and workshops are organised to communicate the corresponding results to the member states.

On completion of the project, the members states and the EU authorities concerned will have access to an Internet-based resources centre with country-related information, analyses and training results.
