EDDRA, or Exchange on Drug Demand Reduction Action, is a database maintained by the EMCDDA in Lisbon, in cooperation with the REITOX Focal Points. The EDDRA database documents many different activities in the field of drug-specific demand reduction, all of which include an evaluation component.
The EDDRA was established in order to provide access to reliable, comparable and recent information on evaluated activities in the field of demand reduction in Europe, facilitate contacts and exchange of experience among drug experts and promote cooperation and networks.
ÖBIG, in its function as Austria’s REITOX Focal Point, is in charge of managing the EDDRA database at the national level and thus of selecting, gathering and entering information on relevant projects in Austria. The EDDRA database is open to all who are interested, and may be found on the Internet: http://eddra.emcdda.europa.eu/. It includes a search function where projects that meet specific criteria may be identified. If you are interested in having your project included in the database please contact us.
