Adult Cardiac Surgery Registry

The Adult Cardiac Surgery Registry is a joint project of BIQG and the working group on outcome quality in adult cardiac surgery established at the Austrian Society for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery.

The goal of the Registry is to compare and assess treatment results in Austria’s nine cardiac surgery centres. Unlike the majority of other quality registries maintained by GÖG/BIQG, the data obtained are collected in a decentralised way and, after a check, communicated to the quality institute, centrally combined and analysed.
