An essential task of FGÖ is the practical promotion of health. So far, a total of more than EUR 36 million has been spent for funding approximately 725 projects in this field. The types and quality of the corresponding initiatives have been documented in the
project database.
We support health promotion and primary prevention through practice-oriented projects, (further) training schemes, linking and networking of stakeholders as well as participation in international promotion programmes.
As a rule, funding is only provided for projects with an overall volume of more than EUR 10 000 (the minimum overall volume is EUR 5 000 for implementation projects in the context of modern, setting-oriented health promotion in enterprises), and we take over partial financing of practice-oriented projects: as a rule, from one third up to a maximum of two thirds of the approved overall costs. This rule does not apply to model projects.
After the relevant general questions have been settled, the
FGÖ Project Guide will help you draw up a project application so that FGÖ funding may be granted.
