TX-Veranstaltungshinweise, 03.10.2014

Folgende TX-relevante Kongresse finden Anfang Oktober in Budapest statt:

2014 European Organ Donation Congress (EDTCO), 3. bis 5. Oktober:
»The meeting draws on expertise from across the field of organ and tissue donation, procurement, allocation,  transplant coordination  and transplantation from living donors to provide an inspirational programme, delivered in the innovative style that has become the hallmark of this event.«

Abstract Submission Deadline: 1. Juni 2014,
Early Registrations Deadline: 31. Juli 2014

Zur selben Zeit werden zwei weitere Veranstaltungen angeboten.

1st European Cardio Thoracic Transplant Association Meeting (ECTTA), 3./4. Oktober 2014:
»The dramatic drop in thoracic donor availability – particularly in countries with historical large numbers – and the growing complexity of rejection phenotypes – i.e. antibody mediated rejection – are sharply challenging European cardiothoracic transplantation.

Nevertheless, new opportunities are raising behind the horizon, thanks to efficient mechanical assist devices, innovative strategies to improve organ procurement and transportation, and growing transplant programs in eastern European countries.

In this scenario, ECTTA, the novel ESOT section for cardiothoracic transplantation, launches a brand new educational appointment designed to fill the educational needs of European thoracic transplant professionals, by assembling a clinically oriented and breaking through scientific program.«

Abstract Submission Deadline: 1. Juni 2014

1st European Transplant Allied Healthcare Professionals Meeting (ETAHP), 3./4. Oktober 2014:
»This first ETAHP-meeting has its own programme  though it is organized in collaboration with EDTCO. In this first meeting we would like to discuss evidence-based practice in patient self-management and patient education.«
